![]() CONGRATULATIONS: These two friends were the first at THE LINDSAY DRIVE-IN THEATRE for the year 2006. They braved the first screening in rainy weather of which there have been plenty so far. Twenty two year old Heather Kilbourne attended th screening of 16 BLOCKS and V FOR VENDETTA with her twenty one year old friend Allison Richards. Both these young women are from London, Ontario but attend college here in Lindsay. They visited the Lindsay Drive-In Theatre last year and because they enjoyed the whole drive-in experience, they decided to return this year for more movie viewing. They did not plan on arriving first in line this season, so this was a pleasant surprise for them. They did enjoy posing for the pictures. They relaxed and enjoyed their movies even though it was quite cold out. That's the way it goes we have beautiful weather for weeks before we opened and of course once we open the rains come. We are happy that both heather and Allison braved the weather to enjoy our openers of the 2006 season. "Drive-ins are fun. The Lindsay Snack Bar is wicked," stated both these young ladies. Well, we certainly are glad thery enjoy the snack bar becasue we work hard to make it the best for them as well as for all our patrons. Unfortunately the picture gremlins attacked causing equipment malfucntion; so, Heather and Allison came back so that we could take their pictures once again. We know you like to pose so it wasn't that bad. We hope you enjoy your year up here at the Lindsay Drive-In. |
This couple is sad. See why.
